Headwaters State Forest

Discover Headwaters State Recreational Forest in the Blue Ridge Mountains, NC. Spanning 10,400 acres, it features four major waterfalls on the Little River and more on Grassy Creek. Established in 1996 through a sale from DuPont Corporation, it expanded in 2000 with two additions, including a stunning 2,200-acre tract with High Falls, Triple Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls.
